LEDS has newly adapted eRecording software.  This innovative, new application will allow any financial institution to submit electronic documents to the Public Trustee for submitting Release of Deed of Trust documents to the County Clerk and Recorder’s office. Along with the Deed of Trust documents the software can capture data used by local title companies who will in turn pay a small fee to the county for documents accessed from the County’s website.

Once the County has received an eRecording document, the process begins and ends when a document has been recorded, indexed, imaged, and the recordings are available for retrieval or have been rejected.  This new system will allow financial institutions as well as Title Companies access to data they need to complete title work for County constituents.  As for the County’s data, LEDS, LLC will host a server that houses all County data and provides a necessary backup.  This server is located in Denver and is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides a backup if the County were to experience a power loss or need assistance with data recovery.

The Recording system provides a Cash Tendering module for capturing cash, check, pre- pay accounts and customer invoicing.  A Document Indexing module allows easy entry and indexing of grantor and grantee with option legal verification.  Images are scanned and attached to each document for easy retrieval.  A Public Search module provides users access to all public documents for viewing and printing.  Remote Document storage and Public WEB Searching provides access by user and password to information from anywhere in the world.  An eRecording module is included for any financial institution to submit electronic documents to the Public Trustee for submitting Release of Deed of Trust documents to the County Clerk and Recorder’s office.  The eRecording module also allows Title Company’s to submit their documents using a WEB based software product to the County Clerk and Recorder’s office.  Our system provides a complete Recording system for your office.

  Voter Registration

The LEDS Voter Registration System provides a means for the County Clerk to create and maintain a complete record of voters and their history.  The program’s ability to search, add, retrieve, and scan documents is especially helpful to the elections department.

  Marriage License System

The State of Colorado will be implementing a new Marriage License procedure this year.  The LEDS Marriage License system meets and exceeds the state requirements.  This Marriage License Application, Marriage License, and associated data and images can be transmitted to the State.  Our system provides a data entry form, automatically assigns a marriage license number, and stores the required marriage information in a database.  The system will also print a marriage application and marriage license designed for the county and state requirement (these documents are user definable).  The system allows changes to the information and reprinting of the document before signing.  Once the marriage license has been returned, the system allows updates to the ceremony date and type.  At the end of the month the system allows extracting and sending of the data to the state using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) required by the state through the Internet or modem.
